On November 9th, the City of North Myrtle Beach released its Holiday events schedule.
Many free events include a Christmas Parade, tree lighting, Christmas light show, Pet photos with Santa, and the 39th annual All City Christmas Cantata. Details follow:

PET PHOTOS WITH SANTA – November 26 and December 910:00 AM – 12:00 PM – North Myrtle Beach Park & Sports Complex This weather-permitting event at the Large Dog Park is free. Furry friends love Santa, too! Bring your family pets to meet Santa Claus at the Large Dog Park. Bring your camera and capture the perfect Christmas card photo. All well-behaved dogs on leashes are welcome. ![]() ![]() Free. Activities, entertainment, and visits with Santa are available for children of all ages. A great community start to the holiday season. ![]() ![]() Free. Learn the tricks to making your own Christmas wreath! The Community Center supplies the greenery and instructions, and you bring a wreath form, preferably one made of straw. Thank you to the Driftwood Garden Club for providing instruction at this event. ![]() ![]() Free. Bring the entire family! Enjoy lighted floats and units representing groups from all across the area.
